Bankroll Management Guide
Effective bankroll management is the foundation of a sustainable and enjoyable gambling experience. Before you deposit a single taka, decide on a total gambling budget that represents money you can genuinely afford to lose — treat it as entertainment spending, not investment capital. Once that budget is set, stick to it regardless of how a session unfolds.
Divide your overall bankroll into session amounts. If your monthly budget is ৳5,000, consider splitting it into 10 sessions of ৳500 each. This approach prevents a single bad run from depleting your entire fund in one sitting and ensures you get more play time and entertainment per taka spent.
A widely recommended guideline is the 1–5% per-bet rule: never stake more than 1–5% of your session bankroll on a single wager. For a ৳500 session, this means individual bets should sit between ৳5 and ৳25. This keeps you in the game longer and reduces the impact of variance on short-term results.
Set clear win and loss limits for every session. A common approach is to walk away after doubling your session stake (a win limit) or after losing 50% of your session bankroll (a loss limit). Chasing losses — continuing to play beyond your stop-loss point in hope of recovery — is the single most common cause of problem gambling behaviour.
Keep a simple play log: date, game type, starting balance, ending balance, and session duration.
